The Akula 190 S was developed for uncompromising anglers who specifically target the largest and strongest predators of the seas.
With a length of 190 mm and a weight of over 160 g, it is the perfect choice for use with heavy tackle from PE 8 upwards and wherever maximum power reserves are required.
Despite its elongated shape, the sophisticated weight distribution ensures perfect casting performance – even in wind or rough conditions. During the sinking phase, the Akula 190 S creates an attractive flutter that entices even wary large fish to strike. When retrieved steadily, the lure runs in a distinctive, tight S-curve. Thanks to its perfectly tuned balance, it responds equally well to powerful sweeps, hard twitches, and fast retrieve styles, without losing stability.
For maximum durability, the Akula 190 S features a continuous steel harness that can withstand pulling force of over 100 kg. This extremely robust construction was specially developed for uncompromising fights with trophy saltwater fish and offers absolute safety even under the toughest conditions.
Compared to the Oscar 135, the Akula 190 S is specifically aimed at anglers who fish larger lures with heavy tackle and hunt the strongest sea predators. It is the ideal choice for trophy Giant Trevally, Yellowfin, Dogtooth Tuna, Cubera Snapper, and many other species where uncompromising stability is crucial.
Whether with long sweeps and retrieve pauses, fast cranking, aggressive twitches, or a walk-the-dog retrieve just below the surface – the Akula 190 S impresses with a versatile action and remains enticing even at high retrieve speeds.

- Attractive flutter during the sink phase

ABOUT OUR LURES
All our lures are made from European Paulownia wood.
The blanks are shaped on CNC milling machines in our workshop in Styria.
After the two halves are fitted with the internal components and glued with epoxy resin, the first sanding takes place.
The continuous internal structure of our lures is laser-cut from 1.5mm thick stainless steel – This provides the necessary stability to tame tuna, GTs, and other strong predatory fish.
After various sealing layers and sanding, the lures are painted by airbrush. This makes every B8Ball lure a unique piece.
Subsequently, the lures are coated with several layers of epoxy resin and, after a week of drying, receive the final hand-finished touches.
This is how stickbaits are created that have now proven themselves excellently in many different fishing destinations around the world, for a wide range of predatory fish.
